I’m always excited to hear about engagements, especially when it’s someone I know.

I was honored to be asked to design the wedding stationery for a friend’s wedding.

Foresty (it can be a word, at least in the My Dictionary) and earthy, were a few key adjectives  we worked with to come up with the perfect design to match a perfect couple.  All my best miss G for a long and happy marriage. XOXO

This is the first in a series of DIY projects I will be creating for kelliemedivitz.com. I hope you enjoy creating and using this first one as much as I did.

As you may have already guessed from the desktop wallpaper project, I love calendars. Really, any kind–from desktop decor styles to ones I can carry in my pocket or hang on my wall.

What is this whole “Easy on your wallet. Easy on our earth.” line all about? Glad you asked!

Easy on your wallet. Simply stated, this DIY project download is FREE! I know you’re all over this like white on rice, aren’t you?

Easy on our earth. Yep! I’m hopping on the “eco chic” bandwagon of earth-love like everyone else. Eco chic. It’s not just for the granola eating, and patchouli smelling peeps anymore! I’m trying my best to do my part. Baby steps, I say.

For this project, I’ve used card stock from Neenah Paper called ENVIRONMENT®, but any 100% recycled card stock will make this project a bit more earth-friendly.

Below is a list of supplies and directions. These are also repeated in the PDF download, so no need to print this post out.

Supplies Needed:

1. diy project PDF
2. cutting mat
3. ruler
4. x-acto knife
5. earth-friendly card stock (8.5×11)
6. mini easel frame holder (optional)
7. wire and clips (optional)

Directions:

Ta-Da! There you have it! Your very own “wallet and earth-friendly desktop calendar” to spice up any desk or wall!
