DIY PROJECT: BOO BAGS

DIYBooBagsSpooks Galore… Tricky Witches at your Door. You’ve Been Booed!!

I love Halloween! So in keeping with the spirit (pun intended) of my DIY  project posts, I decided to create a ” You’ve Been Booed” DIY project to share with all my ghostly visitors (get it… I never really see any of you. I just get to feel your presence on my Google Analytics page).

Every year an anonymous neighbor leaves a ghostly gift at our door a few days before Halloween, merely asking us to pay it forward.

Start this fun and haunting tradition in your neighborhood. Here’s how it works, simply follow the directions below to create two of my DIY boo bags, fill with a special goodie and at dusk rise from your eternal resting place,  head out with your legs and arms attached and “ding dong ditch” your neighbors and friends of choice!

DING DANG your tricky! However, be sure you return before sun rise or your spirit will never be the same!

Supplies Needed:

  1. diy project PDF
  2. scissors
  3. cutting mat
  4. ruler
  5. x-acto knife
  6. card stock*
  7. double-sided tape**
  8. black tissue paper

Product Suggestions:

Directions:

  1. Print page 2 and 3 of this PDF at 100% onto card stock paper (8.5×11)*
  2. Insert print out from page 3 back into the printer to print page 4 on the opposite side.
  3. Align ruler and cut along noted lines for all printed pieces.
  4. Use the back of x-acto to score along noted fold lines.
  5. Place double sided tape** on side and bottom flaps of bag. (place tape on the insides)
  6. Insert a bootastic goodie of choice, tissue, and set boo card on top inside bag.

Ta-Da! There you have it! Your very own “bootastic bag” ready to spook and treat your friends at the same time.

Here is what your final project will look like.
